Customer Review: I missed the first episode when this aired on PBS, but when I came in on the second episode, I knew I would be purchasing the dvd. I have never read the book(s) this series is based on, so I didn't have any expectations, but the stories and the people in the village of Cranford charmed me... more info
Customer Review: This is one of the best-looking Blu-Ray movies out there. The battle in the Ministry will wow you if you've got an HDTV and a Blu-Ray player. The movie should have been longer, and they left out some important stuff, but I prefer the movie's version of the events that transpired in the... more info
Customer Review: This adaptation of the classic is perfectly understandable, humorous, beautiful and a joy to behold. Even those who are bored or daunted by Shakespeare's work will enjoy this bountiful, star studded film.
Customer Review: I loved this movie and I would totally recomend this to any teacher if you want to inspire your students and show them that no matter how much you go through someone really cares they're hard to find but if you can it will really help you. I've found some people like that myself but like I said... more info

Customer Review: This is a review of the 1996 film version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, with Trevor Nunn as both screenwriter and director. Chicken Run from Dreamworks Animated Price: $10.49
Customer Review: I thought the artistry was great in this movie, but it's definitely not for youngsters who like claymation. The subject content was pretty morbid, even though the movie ends positively. I was kind of shocked that it was so violently suggestive - it was scary, and I'm an adult. I felt uncomfortable,... more info

Customer Review: I had heard that these were good, especially the version of "Taming of the Shrew". Everything I'd heard was right! Shakespeare is often "updated" to different time periods, but these are the first I've seen that actually change the language. Don't get me wrong, I love the originals, and there are... more info

Customer Review: Peter's Friends is a wonderful movie. Touching, funny, and sweet. I could watch it over and over again. The cast is superb. Ugh, Hugh Laurie what can I say. Much better than the Big Chill (they are similiar in theme).
