There was a coyote who swallowed a flea, Plucked from his knee, that tickly flea. Yippee-o-Ki-Yee! Skinny ol' Coyote delights readers of all ages as he swallows his way through this delicious southwestern-flavored retelling of a well-loved rhyme. As Coyote gets bigger, the story gets zanier as a bird, a bull, and even an entire cactus end up as dinner. It's pure fun for everyone-even that little flea. Call him silly to swallow a chile! Yippee-o-Ki-Yee!

great twist to the "lady that swallowed a fly":
Excellent book for little ones. My daugther absolutely loves hearing me read this to her and loves to look at all the pages. Very creatively put together and puts a new twist on the old story of "the lady that swallowed a fly". Highly recommend this book for your childrens library.
Best book ever!:
My old boss had this book and I read it over and over during "Western Week". The children would chime in every time I got to the part that read, "Plucked from his knee, that tickly flea, yippy-yo-ki-yee. I started a new job in April and I just could'nt do a "Western Month" without the book. So glad I could find an excellent copy on Amazon. The new class loves it too. Beautiful art work. Destined to be a classroom classic.

This is a great book for PreK -3rd Grade!!
Cute, Cute, Cute!!!:
My son is almost two years old and this has been his favorite book for the past two months. He laughs every time I "pluck" the flea from his knee and makes it a point to fake burp at the end then ask for breakfast. I don't even get sick of it, because I know that he loves it so much!
