Classic Munsch:
Another winner! Robert Munsch is one of my favorite authors and I love his child-like approach to many of his stories. Although Show & Tell (as WE remember it from our own childhoods) isn't as prevalent in schools now, but this book gives a very funny view. A bit derrogatory towards the teacher & principal.
A hilarious story by Munsch:
Benjamin picks his baby sister up out of her crib, puts her in his knapsack and takes her to school for show and tell. She then wakes up and begins to cry. It is hilarious to watch the flustered adults in charge all try to get her to be quiet. I read this to my kindergarten class, and we all laughed so hard we cried. (If you like Stephanie's Ponytail, you'll like this one, too!) Munsch's dialog is clever, and there is just the right amount of repetition in the story for kids to chime in as it is read aloud.... more info
