Customer Reviews: Avg. Customer Rating: 3.0 / 5.0 Very basic book:
This was the assigned text for a internet security college course. It's an adequate first-time exposure to personal info security. The To Do Lists at the back are good. Some of the material seems repetitious but perhaps that's warranted to drive home the message of the magnitude of danger re: personal info & the net. There is very little technical info, such as how to evaluate or configure protection software or explanations of how viruses/worms/Trojans work.
