Junk:
Provided NO better picture or reception than the typical 3 dollar splitter...and to top it off....the monster splitter failed after 3 months. It is a Taiwan product...and the monster cable brand does not offer any assurance of quality.
Good product:
I've used RF splitters from several manufacturers and most have worked well. Does the Monster SS2RF give you a better picture then other competing brands of RF splitters that I've used? Got full bandwidth as promised:
A Time Warner Tech told me that in order to get good reception from the lower and upper channels I needed a good quality splitter, not the cheap ones that you can get at Radio Shack (which I had used). Suspicous, I researched this and boy was he telling the truth! The SS2RF provided much better clarity and got rid of the distortion that I assumed was the fault of the cable provider. Definitely worth the extra money when you consider how much you already have invested in your AV equipment.
