Great cooling; good for exhaust too:
I think the grills might occasionally sneak back into the base unit. But this does a fantastic job of blowing the cool air from the breezeway into our apartment. I'm sure the dog loves how much cooler the apartment is during the day while we're at work. And I know the wife loves the exhaust feature when I'm in the kitchen cooking. We're definitely happy with the purchase.
Great Value for Money:
Many good features for a good price. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the side extenders weren't long enough for wide windows and they were hard to fully extend and close.
Otherwise, a great product.
This fan won't let you down.:
I bought this, originally for myself and then sent it to my daughter, in Washington, to use in her dorm. It works great and the options available allow you to use either one or both of the fans.
Excellent fan:
It took me awhile to get this fan because some people had commented that it was noisy or that it was not powerful enough to blow-in or exhaust air. Well, none of those are the cases. This is an amazing fan. It is so powerful that I keep it in the lowest speed setting to keep my bedroom cool and airy. The thermostat works great.
