It looked wider than it is. It is not any wider than the seat that came with my bike.
Performance Comfort:
Even though this seat is a gel seat, it still feels like a serious performance seat. The picture makes the seat look fairly wide, but the reality is it has more of a racing saddle profile than a cruiser seat. I have yet to take it on a long trip, but I believe it will alleviate some discomfort. I think I'll still need to work on developing muscles in certain key areas though!
Better but not quite:
A big improvement over the stock saddle I was riding but less comfortable than I wished it were but then what I really want is a tractor seat.
not the best thing:
it is good nut be careful after 10 days the padding with the gel started coming off, now it is not that comfy anymore.
