When a bus driver takes a break from his route, a very unlikely volunteer springs up to take his place-a pigeon! But you've never met one like this before. As he pleads, wheedles, and begs his way through the book, children will love being able to answer back and decide his fate. In his hilarious picture book debut, popular cartoonist Mo Willems perfectly captures a preschooler's temper tantrum.

No Fair:
Loved the book, 12 grandkids loved the book. Something I hear with that many Grandkids...No Fair. The Pigeon doesn't think it is fair that he can't drive the bus..he says "no fair" so we all got a kick out of it but Emma loved it best of all because she is the queen of No Fair.

Outstanding!:
This outstanding childrens book definitely surprised me when I read it the first time. I was expecting great pictures and maybe a cute story, but when I opened the book and began to read I really was able to see what the "hype" about this book was. Being a college student in the elementary education field, I am always challeged to find ways to use different books in my classroom. I found that this book is great for readying to a child, but when paired with a puppet, children are given the opportunity to... more info
