An essential!:
This kit is the staple item for eyes in my make-up bag. The "Meet the Eyes" kits are my all-time favorite eyeshadows, far surpassing any other (including other Bare Minerals shadows). They are matte in color (I absolutely DETEST the ever-popular glimmer shadows....if I were 16 or going to a New Year's Eve party, then maybe I'd be into them, but I just think they really defeat the purpose of natural-looking make-up that Bare Minerals so loyally promotes). Great set of eyeshadows:
These three shades of brown are PERFECT!!! I use the light brown as a base, and then I put the medium in the crease. I finish up by using the dark brown as an eyeliner. It looks wonderful! If I want a more dramatic look, I can use just the dark colors, or just the light ones if I want to go casual. Very versatile when you consider it's just brown! I also find that these eyeshadows last MUCH longer than any eyeshadows I've bought in stores. No touchups required!
Good starter kit:
I bought this kit as I was new to the Bare Escentuals line and wasn't sure what browns would look good on me. Overall I use this kit a lot (I have brown hair, brown eyes and very fair skin so I tend to wear browns a lot) but probably will not purchase it again. Here is why: The light brown is too light.
