Great Water Bottle:
The Polar Insulated Water Bottle is by far the best water bottle I've used. On hot days, it keeps drinks cool throughout the ride. We don't even think about using other water bottles anymore.
keeps cold, but a little frustrating:
I bought these for my kids because they are PBA free and my kids go through a ton of water, especially for soccer. They do keep the water cold even in a hot car, but in order to get more than a tiny sip, you have to unscrew the top. There is no air release to the valve like I've had with other water bottles, so even the smallest sip causes a lot of back suction. I find the pop-top part useless, which is a large part of the reason I wanted these for the kids over screw-top designs.
I stay hydrated now:
I started an XBiking Class and work out with a trainer now. She recommended more hydration than what I was doing, AND during workouts. Bottle size is good to fit in the bike's bottle holder and fits good in my car as well. Got a few of these bottles, pre-fill them and stick them in the 'fridge. Works out great. Also a convenient bottle that works well when I'm coaching little league soccer with the foil insert, it helps keep the bottle cooler when it's sitting in the hot sun during soccer or on a non-shady... more info
Worth the money:
I guess the first thing I liked about this bottle is that it is BPA free. Followed by the environmental message. I needed a water bottle for school and this one definitely does the job. As far as cleaning is concerned the removeable mouthpiece was almost a two-person job, but at least it comes out. It does seem to do well keeping my water cool too. I would buy another one!
