sensor:
I REPLACED MY OLD UNIT WHICH WAS 5 YEARS OLD WITH THIS UNIT AFTER MY OLD UNIT QUIT. I LIVE IN SOUTH DAKOTA WHICH GOES FROM 30 BELOW ZERO TO 110 ABOVE SO IT TAKES QUITE AN ABUSE. BATTERIES USUALLY LAST 6 MONTHS IN THESE EXTREME CONDITIONS. PRICED RIGHT AND WORKS.
Oregon Scientific Wireless Temperature Sensor:
I am unable to have this sensor be acknowledged by my receiver . I talked to a customer service representative at Oregon Scientific and was quite surprised to be unable to get support . The representative got rather brisk and unwilling to accept my problem. She actually hung up on me without providing any resolution . Very poor customer service .
Oregon Temperature Sensor:
The sensor itself went bad after 3 months of use. When it works it is great.
