I purchased this bouncie seat to keep at my house for my 3 month old grandson who is approximately 14 1/2 lbs. It keeps him safe (always upervised in it) and happy with or without the toy attachment. The vibration is soothing and works like a charm. The soft rainforest music is a plus. We needed a spare seat to have at my home, so Mom and Dad did not have to transport more equipment with them when they visit. It was a great purchase for the price. My son is 3 months old and loves this bouncer. It was easy to assemble. I like the fact the toy bar easily detaches. The toys are easy to grab and the lights,music and colors are appropriate for a little one. The weight limit says 25 pounds, not sure if it would really hold that much, but great for under 6 months!
great for a long time:
When my son was a newborn, the vibration feature was great. He'd sleep in it while I worked at my desk. Now that he's almost 5 months old he plays with the toys and watches the lights on the waterfall. He starts to wiggle and kick his feet as soon as I go to strap him in! When he's done playing, the vibration lulls him to sleep. He can be occupied/napping for over an hour. He loves the feature where the lights and music are activated when he bounces. My son loves the lights and the monkey and the frog moving! he adores it so much...and stays on it for almost 1 hr. He talks to the monkey and smiles alot@!!
