Garmin mount:
mount is fine but the rubber of the suction cup wears out a little fast
garmin nuvi dash mount:
Garmin has changed the mount type so that you must attach the specially fitted (non industry standard plug-end) car charger in to the mount itself rather than the unit. While it makes it easy to remove the GPS itself it is more cumbersome to plug in and out which is necessary if you want to remove the mount when parking in a public. Got what I wanted:
I bought a Garmin suction cup mount. There were no mention it would not come in a Garmin hard card plastic packaging. Instead, it came in some plastic bag. The item is truly new and I got what I wanted. I didn't got the Garmin packaging. It would anyway have ended be recycled and I saved some money.
Garmin suction cup mount:
I purchased the Suction Cup Mount for the Nuvi 660. It was exactly what I expected. I had one with my original purchase but in the vehicle to vehicle transfer it was misplaced. I love my Nuvi, but I dislike the fact that the screen carrying case does not have a pouch for the Suction Cup and mount. I also think the arm "pops out" to easily even when adjusting angles on the window and then is hard to re attach while it is on the window.
