I received this machine about a month and a half ago.I didn't have alot of money to spend but needed a better machine for quilting. I went through the reviews and made my choice. I am so glad I choose this machine. I know it's been only a short time but it works wonderful. I'm not sure what some of these people are doing but I haven't had any trouble with threading the bobbin or the needle threader.Obviously they are doing something wrong. Great Machine but shipping may cause problems:
I think this is a great machine and buy for the money. The problem I had was with the tension on the dog feeds or bobbin. The machine would drop stitches whenever I tried to use any stitch other than staight...even zig zag stitches did not look right. I called Brother several times and tried their suggestions. They advised me to return the machine. I even called the closest service center, which is 60 miles away, and they wanted to keep the machine a week if I brought it to them.
