A must have ....:
item for your Garmin GPS. This bean-bag type holder sits securely on the dashboard keeping your expensive Garmin safe and within view. Additionally you can take the dashboard mount with you in another vehicle. The price at Amazon can't be beat! I paid just under $25 for a item costing just under $40 locally. Thank Amazon.
It Works...:
I was skeptical that this thing would work, but it works perfectly. It is heavy and also has an almost "sticky," rough bottom which helps keep it from sliding or shifting. I drive a Honda Accord which has a slightly angled dash, and it doesn't move, including during sharp turns. Even when you press the buttons on your GPS with force, this mount does not slide backward. This is a much better option that the suction cup mount...it's more out of the way than the suction cup mount, leaves no suction cup... more info
Excellent - Why Doesn't Garmin Include This With the Product!!!:
Our one disappointment was with the mount included with our Garmin Nuvi. We didn't care to leave it affixed to the windshield because of it's tell tale 'I have a GPS inside - steal me!' This little gadget solves all the problems. Just rest it on your dash - connect the cord into the cigarette lighter - and you're good to go. It stays put. I would highly recommend this product. And it's much cheaper here on Amazon than I found it online elsewhere.
