Disappointing Plantronics Discovery 665 headset:
I have had 3 of these units. The first a lost because it was so light that I did not realize it had fallen off of my ear. By the time it was found, weather conditions had destroyed it. The second was my fault that it was destroyed. I did like the product enough that I purchased a third one. I had it about six weeks when the ear gel piece fell out and would not stay snapped in. I replaced that one and my ear became so sensitive that it was extremely painful to insert or remove it, and within about six weeks... more info
Don't Even Waste Your Time:
Don't even think about buying this product; there is a huge design flaw that severely outshadows any of the positives. The gel ear buds do not stay on the headset. To put them on and take them off, you put the bud in the "neutral" position then push it on and then twist it to the right or left, depending upon which ear you prefer. The problem is that the bud keeps rotating back to neutral and then falls right off. I complained to the Plantronics company and they told me where I could purchase replacement... more info
Did not arrive with all the parts described:
I ordered this product going on the "product description" that says it has a vehicle charger, customizable ear gels, and optional ear loop. None of those three things arrived with the headset. I simply received the headset, wall charger, and usb charger. Other sellers are apparently selling it with ALL the pieces, but "Abacus 24-7" apparently is not.
665 Discovery bluetooth:
This little earpiece is amazing. The sound quality is very impressive. Teh fit in the ear canal helps block out so much sound that it can actually be difficult to hear someone if you are NOT using the phone! It weighs next to nothing and the sound quality on theother end, I'm told, is as good as if I wasn't using my headset at all. Very affordable, very comfortable, great sound quality. The only downside is the batter life is short. Make sure you have your charger with you - it doesnt' take long... more info
