I rinsed the sheets before putting them on my bed. Big huge faded spots are all over the sheets!

I can't complain too much because I only paid $6 for these on sale. I wouldn't pay a penny more though. They are very soft and comfortable when you first put them on your bed. However, after washing them again, they pill. They pill and become itchy more and more with each wash. I can't even use the pillow case anymore. Then they rip. So I use them under another sheet, which is also by Pike, and also ripped. Together, the two sheets actually manage to cover my bed. I do have dogs, and I do let them... more info

These are all right. If you need a cheap set of sheets, these aren't too bad. But if you can get 100% cotton for a few bucks more, go for it. These are super slippery and don't stay on the bed well. The colors weren't true (the fitted sheet was darker than the flat sheet, but not by much). I certainly wouldn't pay more than the $7 I paid for them. I needed them so it's no regrets, but I wish I could have waited a few more weeks til I found a 100% cotton set at TJ Maxx for only $24.

i really tried to make these work... after all, we got like 4 sets of sheets for under $30. alas, my wife hates them, and she might be onto something. they're a weird fabric, and feel cheap. they're a little slidey and strange to sleep on. oh well - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
