Very Low Quality Software:

Clunky interface, super-slow screen redraws, and non-intuitive screens and data entry. How did this get past Quicken's Quality Assurance and User Testing departments?
I demanded and received and refund.

Wonderful program:

I'm not sure why others have problems with this program. I think it's really wonderful. It's fast and easy to use. I have Windows Vista home premium but my machine isn't a powerhouse. While the program loads a bit slow, all Intuit programs load very slooooow. (I have Quicken 2008 and Quickbooks Pro 2008).
Also, it's tons of fun to use. I've been snapping photos of items, of whole rooms, our vehicles (and even our pets!) and making scans of receipts.

Quicken Home Inventory:

Like many other buyers, I was totally dissatisfied with Quicken Home Inventory. I have a fairly large inventory file created by an older version of QHIM. I had hoped to upgrade to the newer version and import the older file. I found it impossible to satisfactorily install this product and import the older file.
The only reason that I gave it any stars at all was due to Intuit's prompt refund of my purchase price under their warranty.

Quicken Home Invetory 2008:

After 5 attempts to get this program to recognize my Quicken Home Inventory Classic file I returned the product. I communicated with QHI support staff who did not know their own product and kept referring me to their FAQ instead of answering the specific issue I had (which was not covered in the FAQ). After purchasing Quicken 2008 (which I did not want to do), that program finally recognized my original file and after 3 or 4 tries on my own I got QHI 2008 to load and convert my classic file.
