tastes like watery cocoa from a highway machine:
A box of Green Mountain cocoa came with the Keurig machine I bought. I tried all the three cup size settings, including the 5 ounce and shook the little cup first, but it still tastes very watery, which of course is what it is made of. Real hot chocolate fans will be disappointed in this drink, while kids may like it. It's okay if you want something hot, but not coffee or tea.
NOT BAD, BUT THERE'S BETTER:
We've used this product for several months but recently discovered a superior product- it's Tully's Bellaccino Hot Cocoa, which has a much richer cocoa flavor.
This one was a miss!:
I like the convenience and quality of the k-cups and thought the hot chocolate would be as good as the coffee and tea. The problem is the chocolate is a fine powder so it remains in the container instead of dissolving and flowing into the mug. It is better to run a mug of hot water from your Keurig and then stir in your favorite packet of hot chocolate mix.
Watery because it doesn't work:
The other reviewers who stated it's watery is because the machine does not get all the cocoa out of the k-cup. It is actually DELICIOUS hot cocoa. To get it to "work" right, you have to either just cut open the k-cup and dump it into your mug, then let the machine put water in your mug. OR Run it through the machine, then cut the k-cup open and scrape the rest of the powder out and stir it into your cup. Either way, don't use the largest cup setting as this will dilute it too much...medium is fine,... more info
