The original and still great:
I have found that these shrink a bit less than what Levi's says. In the waist, they shrink about an inch as opposed to the tho inches that Levi's says. The leg shrinks about 2 3/4 inches, rather than 4. So don't buy them too oversized, unless you are going to be washing many times in hot water and a hot drier. quality clothing:
Levis 501 STF jeans are as reliably close to the ones I bought 30 years ago as possible given the changes in manufacturing, etc over the years. Nothing stays the same, but some things are similar enough. If you are looking for this type of jean, this product will suffice.
good old standard:
an oldie, but goodie. They always fit the same. Just what you wanted.
Amazon drops the ball (AGAIN!!!!):
The jeans are perfect, and I hate to rate them low, but they were supplied by the incompetent Amazon.com. I guess they have gotten too big to worry about customer service. I paid for next day shipping, and Amazon doesn't deliver to the shipper until the day it is supposed to arrive.If they can't handle the volume then they should either hire more peopleor not be in business, but then the useless CEO's won't get thei millions for doing nothing!!
