The Windows Mobile 6 operating system enables you to view and edit Word and Excel documents as well as provides instant message capabilities via Windows Live Messenger. You'll also get an enhanced Outlook Mobile experience that enables you to view emails in their original HTML format and enjoy quick access to contacts with the ability to search a call history and contacts database.
This unlocked version of the HP iPAQ 910 can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. When paired with a compatible 3G network that uses HSDPA 850/1900/2100 MHz connectivity, you'll enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services with speeds up to 384 Kbps--from data connectivity to your office to multimedia streaming, and take advantage of simultaneous voice and data services. In the United States, you'll be able to access 850/1900 MHz 3G networks, while the 2100 MHz connectivity allows you to access 3G networks in Europe and Asia. The 3-megapixel camera enables you to capture high-resolution still photos as well as record short video clips (at QCIF/176 x 144-pixel resolution), all of which can be stored in the 256 MB internal memory or optional MicroSD memory cards (up to 4 GB in size). The integrated Windows Media Player allows you to quickly and easily transfer your favorite music from your PC, and it's compatible with MP3/AAC/AAC+/WAV/WMA music file formats as well as MPEG4 videos.
This phone provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity with EDR (enhanced data rate), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and audio/video remote control. I purchased the HP iPAQ 910c Business Messenger about 2 months ago. At the time it seemed a very excellent phone. Here are my thoughts.
NOTE: I am reviewing the product as a PDA, as I have no phone service in this phone yet. When I get service I will update the review. ***THE PHONE***
The phone itself is very sturdy, despite being made of plastic. It feels good in the hand, and the keyboard is good for typing out emails and text messages. The screen size doesn't bother me as much as it... more info

If you are looking for a blackberry-type of phone with windows mobile 6.1 this is the best.
Portable hi tech power:
Very handy, powerful, elegant. A bigger screen and less thickness would make it fit the word perfect.
Lots of excellent featuers, but phone call quality falls short.:
I owned this phone for about a week. I was pretty excited by how many features it had in such a small package: touch screen (small, but still useful), wifi, 3g, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.1, built-in keyboard, the list goes on... First off, I actually like Windows Mobile for its similarity to Windows on the desktop. I tried a Nokia e71 with Symbian, and I found the user interface somewhat inconsistent between applications. Windows Mobile apps usually follow a pretty standard way of doing menus and icons.... more info
