Customer Review: I am not sure how to rate this book. It was very bizzare. I did like the references to the Utica area. This made it a little more interesting for me. This book comes from a perspective of a young teenage girl and at times is a little hard to follow. Although it was weird, it was a good read.
Customer Review: Not only did my 5-year-old daughter and I love this funny story of all the anxieties that kids feel before the first day of school, we laughed out loud at the fantastic illustrations. The pictures of the girl and her cat were so clever and humorous!

Customer Review: The children in this book are just lovely characters. Ms. McGhee is adept at writing in a child's voice; she makes them completely believable and sympathetic. This is a very gentle book that should be savored.

My favorite part is when she was trying to yank out all of her student's teeth! This is my favorite part because it is... more info
