Customer Review: The Dark Knight Returns is a classic piece of comic book literature that helped transition Batman from the campy character he had been turned into back to the grim and gritty protector of the streets that he was meant to be. The story depicts a Gotham City that has been without Batman for years,... more info
Customer Review: Just, wow. The story and artwork might seem a little dated at first, but then this IS a prequel and I have no idea whether the effect was intentional but it panned out phenomenally! Mazzucchelli's artwork adds a new dimension to Miller's already amazing skill as a storyteller who is... more info
Customer Review: Let me preface this by saying that I am a relative newcomer to DC comics. The story here is excellent in my opinion, and it made me want to buy more titles involving JLA and the characters included here. Is the art subpar, especially in the end? Yes. It looks like Frank got tired of drawing it... more info
Customer Review: Amazing artistic point of view of the battle.
The reality there is greatly represent in perfect lines and emotional quotes.
So much impressive skills makes Frank Miller the best in everything he does (with this book and the movies).
Worth EVERY CENT!
Customer Review: Im really not a fan of these "elitist" labels. Sure, some people say that they have read it for the "esteem", but i can't stand when things are labeled elitist, like liking it makes one a snob. I enjoyed the book. Its deep and ridiculous well written. Its probably one of my favorite books simply... more info

But if you can set aside your bias against a slightly crazy Batman, this series has a TON to offer. Jim Lee's art alone makes it worth staring at for hours (best art of his career, I... more info
Customer Review: I think the only real reason that I was underwhelmed by Ronin was the fact that it was Frank Miller. It's an interesting story with engaging artwork, but it didn't grip me like Dark Knight or Sin City. All in all though, it's quite good.
Customer Review: Written in plain English, very informative and very easy to understand. The textbook provides assistance to help you understand and discern court cases. The textbook provides cases relevant to whatever chapter you might be studying.
Customer Review: This is one of the only books i have ever enjoyed. I usualy hate novels, but this book was so awesome I read it in one day. From the start to the end this is truly the best book ever. It will keep you at the edge of your reading seat until it is over and then when it is over you will read it again... more info
Customer Review: I have the Daredevil Omnibus and the Daredevil Omnibus Companion. Those were really Omnibus with more than 600 pages each. The quality of the content and the presentation made me want to buy this one as well, to complete the Frank Miller Omnibus collection, especially since it had Daredevil himself... more info
