Customer Review: I bought this book several years ago when Daniel Pinkwater reviewed it on Public Radio. It perfectly describes a relationship between parent and child, where the parent is the stable rock the child craves, the child the ingenuous spirit the adult has lost. I don't see it as being limited to... more info
Customer Review: I bought this book for my grandson's 3rd birthday which is coming up soon.
I'm sure he will love it. I bought a different book for my Granddaughter about the night when she was born. I like this one much better. It is geared more toward the young child.
Customer Review: I Love You Because You're You. It's the perfect message of unconditional love that we can share with our little ones. What a wonderful way to express exactly what we want to reinforce with our own little ones. I absolutely adore this book. I Love You Because You're You shows cute illustrations... more info
Customer Review: My 2 year old daughter likes this book, but like some other reviewers, I initially though the names were a bit repetitive and the writing stilted. Customer Review: This simple book is best read when you're feeling sentimental. The message will leave you teary-eyed. If you're not in the right mood, it will seem kinda sappy and even a little manipulative, at the end. No regrets buying it - I think it's very sweet, especially if you have a daughter.
Customer Review: My little boy is almost 2, and I read him this book this afternoon at nap time. He was so into it, he laid his little head on my chest and looked up at me everytime I said "I love you" (which is a lot in these stories!). I definitely recommend, this would make a great baby shower gift too!
