Customer Review: In the original "Batman" & "Batman Returns," the storylines (or what shreds there were) were overwhelmed by the comic-book schtick left over from the wonderful 1960's "Batman" series. The schtick was fine for the series, but for the films...AUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. GOOD GRIEF! In... more info
Customer Review: If you love the Wayans brothers and their movies then you will love this one featuring their older brother Keenan. As an excop turned bounty hunter and with the help of Jada Pinkett they turn this movie into an action packed laugh riot! You have to see this movie!!
Customer Review: DO NOT get this for superlative acting or cinematic brilliance. It's just SO silly that it is priceless and highly enjoyable. The villains are a bit weak especially the Joker, but the Dynamic Duo are as camp and corny as ever. Could have been a little bit shorter. Otherwise classic silly... more info
Customer Review: Keaton and Basinger are very bland, and some new guy named Knoxx is all over the place and Gordon ain't in much. And the Joker upstages Batman. But the dark feel would rub off on many comic-book adaptions, and the big success would lead to more superhero films. (For better or worse.) And Jack... more info
Customer Review: This was a decent prison film that hooked the viewer & kept you interested in the plot. The characters were fun to watch & interesting. It appealed to the viewer on more of a psychological level. Overall, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Not over-the-top like many of today's prison... more info
Customer Review: I remembered seeing this movie as a little kid! But, I really want to watch this movie again. I also want this movie to be on DVD. I think this movie really deserves to be on DVD.
Customer Review: Silent screen star Ronald Colman, in his first "talking" role plays Capt. "Bulldog" Drummond in the dated and inane 1929 yarn of the same name. The players for the most part are guilty of overacting, particularly the hammy performance of Colman love interest Joan Bennett playing Phyllis Benton.more info
Customer Review: 1940's "Murder Over New York" is a solidly entertaining entry in the Charlie Chan series, featuring Sidney Toler as the Honolulu Police Detective and Sen Yung as son Jimmy, playing hookey from college to help solve a case of sabotage and murder. As the story opens, Charlie meets an old friend,... more info
Customer Review: great, enjoyable movie. beautiful soundtrack. just wish r. donner had done more with the man of steel just like g. reeves. foiling a bank robbery, bending steel bars, jumping out of a window, fight scenes with the bad guys. the scene when the bullets bounced off superman in the tunnel should have... more info
Customer Review: I recently bought this DVD along with "Bullit" because I wanted to see if my recollections of these two very popular films were accurate. In the case of "Bullit", yes. This movie is actually better than I recall back when I was 17 in 1969. McQueen should have won an Oscar for that performance.... more info
