Customer Review: This is a thick, heavy book, hard to hold, worth the trouble. It doesn't solve every problem but it comes close, and offers links for more insight and details. If you are looking for a way to understand what you are working on, for a foundation from which to be creative, good book.
Customer Review: I had to buy this book for a class. I have used the CIB series before and have enjoyed them. But, I read the reviews and I felt like why the school would even get this book. But, it is not that bad for just learning the bare minimum basics. There were some errors though. You had to download updateds... more info
Customer Review: I have a lot of books. I teach this stuff and try to read everything I can. This book is great. Easy to follow and the tasks are a useful way to learn how to use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). This goes from easy to more advanced in each section so anyone that needs to learn how to use CSS will get... more info
Customer Review: I bought this book to help me build a simple website for my smoothie business. I am totally new to Dreamweaver but had some experience in Front Page. I even read the Quickstart Guide to HTML, XHTML and CSS so I had a basic understanding of these codes. Despite that I have spent HOURS trying to fill... more info
Customer Review: Having purchased Dreamweaver and being new to web design it made perfect sense to me to get a guide book to help me use it. The Dreamweaver CS3 for Dummies is very easy to use, well set out, and much more convenient than the electronic help files and tutorials that come with the software.... more info
Customer Review: The book is awesome. Especially for those who like to learn by doing it. Despite few editing issues like miss typo or calling different functions with the same name, i was able to follow with the content. Higly Recommend.
Customer Review: This book contains everything you need to know. My only criticism is that the first four chapters are to do with setting up the workspace and other details that you don't really need to know from the start, you don't actually start learning how to write web pages until chapter 5.
Customer Review: This book is fantastatic as a quick reference. It gives you answers in short time. For example: if you want to do "this", press "this", "this" and then "this" and it's done. However, it must be stressed that I'd recommend buying another book--one that is more thorough in explaining how to use... more info
Customer Review: The book is great if you simply want an introduction to Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks or (Photoshop in the premium edition). The Dreamweaver section is not very thorough and the Flash section is somewhat difficult to follow. Overall I was able to master Dreamweaver and Fireworks so two out of... more info
