Customer Review: This is the best book to use to study for the A+ exams. It even came with a CD containing practice tests. All this for 35 dollars is pretty darn good.
Customer Review: This book is great practice for the A+ exams but it does contain errors. I have also studied the 'All-in-one' A+ by Mike Meyers and his 'Passport' text as well. I passed the essentials exam no problem. However, I failed the 602 'IT Tech' exam twice. Yes it hurts. I went back into the passport and... more info
Customer Review: This would be a phenominal kit if it still applied to the test offered. I didn't realize that the test was updated last year making this book largely obselete. I would say about 75-80% of this book still applies, but not enough to net a passing score as I found out the hard way. I did all the flash... more info
Customer Review: If you are wanting certification this is the perfect book. Not to technical or just the right amount of technical, good for anyone looking for A+ training.
Customer Review: THE ONLY BOOK I NEEDED TO PASS THE ESENTIALS AND IT TECHNICIAN EXAMS HAPPENED TO BE THIS ONE. QUENTIN DOCTER REALLY TAKES YOU BEYOND A+ CERTIFICATION THROUGHOUT THIS BOOK. LOTS OF PAGES BUT ITS WELL WORTH THE READ. I'M PROUD OF MY ACHIEVEMENT WITH MUCH THANKS TO MR.QUENTIN DOCTER AND CO. SO...... more info
Customer Review: It's a good book, easy to read, straight to the point, but is not for beginners. I used it as a reference book, and I read it from beginning to end one week before took my test.
If you are starting in the A+ certification path without any previous knowledge, I'll recommend you Mike Meyer's... more info
Customer Review: This book is all you will need to pass the A+ exams (2007 editions). If you are looking for a quick, bare bones, "here's what you need to pass" book, this is not it. You're better off with a FastPass book if that's what you're looking for (although I wouldn't recommend it). If you want an all... more info
Customer Review: Errors and inconsistent. Error example: The author believes that Mac OS X uses the Linux kernel and includes sample test questions which help reinforce this mistaken belief. Yes, A+ does not focus on Macs, it is just an error which stands out in my head and it makes me question other 'facts'... more info
