Customer Review: I've been learning Obj-C for iPhone for about 3 months and this is by far the best book I've come across. It explains things like nothing else I've read and I have been doing exercises from the book involving things I thought I already understood, just because things become a lot clearer after... more info
Customer Review: I thought this book was very easy to follow, and well organized. This book is exactly what it says it is, a user manual for the iPhone. It covers all the basic functionality, and includes a few tips and tricks that you might not know about otherwise. For the most part, I find the iPhone very... more info
Customer Review: WOW !! Scott and Terry managed to write yet another INCREDIBLE iPhone book. Seriously, I thought I knew everything about my iPhone (b/c I have their first edition iPhone book also), but this book informed me of SOOO many useful tips that I was unaware of. Seriously, I think Apple should let these... more info
Customer Review: Well written and gave me most info that was easy to follow. If you are starting out and want to have an educated start. Buy this book.

I naively assumed that the timing was so that it could have the very latest info about the newest iPods. Not so. It refers to the pudgy third gen Nano as the... more info
Customer Review: The iPhone is pretty easy to figure out right out of the box but this book just puts the icing on the cake. There are "finesses" for different modes that just make the phone a lot more useful & allow you to get the most out of it. Like Pogue's other "Missing Manual" books, it is a superb... more info
Customer Review: A very worthwhile handbook. I learned everything I needed to know to use the software to load music into my computer, create playlists and transfter the music into the iPod. Well written and easy to understand.
Customer Review: I consider this book a good introduction to the iPhone as an "intructions manual". However, I do not consider that this book covers issues "outside the box". Things to consider for future editions should include: 1) Pros and cons of purchasing the iPhone at an Apple Store, ATT Store, or super... more info
Customer Review: Although this book didn't get good reviews, I thought it did a very good job explaining things to someone, like myself, with limited background and knowledge. It has been a good reference guide for me and it did remove the fear of getting started with a new technology.
