Customer Review: It's a bit of a snoozer. Doesn't seem to be too inspired. But I will give them the benefit of the doubt on the rest of the album. They've been promising it for years after all! Plus, while I like very much of their studio stuff, almost everything they do sounds better live, so go check them out!... more info
Customer Review: This song sounds to me like what The Beatles would have sounded like if they came out in 2003 rather than 1963. Great song, especially for free.
Customer Review: I, too, downloaded this, listened to it, and deleted it. It's Paul in his "I'm a ROCK STAR, dammit!" mode. Rock star in this sense means screaming incoherently to bad heavy metal guitar. Terrible in every way. He doesn't seem to realize that torturing his vocal cords this way has damaged his singing... more info
Customer Review: As far as Katy Perry goes, 'Hot and Cold' is, IMO, a better song than 'I Kissed A Girl'. The initial appeal of 'Kissed A Girl' was the shock value...which was somewhat clever and creative...but that's about as far as the song went. The groove is stronger, and the chorus has a better melody for... more info
Customer Review: I do NOT like this song. I think Beyonce sounds like she's whining. I like some other songs by her, but this one is just repetative and annoying.
Customer Review: Heard that song about a million times before. Nice background if you're riding an elevator. Nickelback has become a Hannah Montana rip-off, which should tell you all about what to expect. In a year, nobody will even remember this song. Going in, going out, forgotten.
Customer Review: Come on people, by now, we all know that Britney cannot sing that well (or at all), and we all know that when it comes to lyrics, we shouldn't care.
Womanizer is a perfect example of this.
The vocals aren't that amazing, and the lyrics include repeating Womanizer a million times, but... more info
Customer Review: I find this album a little empty except for Viva la Vida. The other songs i found bland and unamusing. However, Viva la Vida went straight to the top of my Ipod playlist. It was the one exception to a rather lousy album.
Customer Review: I`m not sure why some people are being so critical of Jason Mraz, but I fell in love with I`m Yours the first time I heard it (on Turkish TV, of all places). The rhythm is contagious and makes me feel great. I listen to it constantly. As a musician, I have great respect for his instrumental... more info
Customer Review: I actually purchased this CD because my daughter wanted the song "So What." After listening the first track about a million times, I finally was allowed to move on to the rest of the CD (lol). :) It's a good mix of ballads and up-beat songs. I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire CD... more info
