Customer Review: I've not enjoyed a book this much since I read Steven Levy's "Hackers" - the behind-the-scenes stories and discussions are just great. I'm not a programmer by trade, but I dabbled a bit in high school and got some more in-depth training in college, but it wasn't my major... a book like this makes me... more info
Customer Review: As an Escalation Engineer for a large software company, live debugging and post-mortem memory dump analysis is a part of my daily routine. Customer Review: Certainly no book can cover all the best practices to write best code but this book has done good attempt. Must read for all the fresh grads and developers before they start writing production code!

Customer Review: From the subtitle, "Chasing Killer Computer Bugs," you would think that this would be a book about software testing. It isn't. Rather, it's a book about things going wrong with software. The author tells readable stories about some infamous software bugs, at least one of which I've never been able... more info
Customer Review: Books that improve my technical communication skills are few and far between; either the advice is too general or it is simply repeating something Gerald Weinberg once said. Still, being able to explain something to a colleague without sounding authoritative is difficult. My belief is that... more info
