Customer Review: I'm just about finished my MCITP: DBA Certification on SQL 2005. So far I've done 70-431, and 70-443. I've been working with SQL Server for a number of years now, and I've recently switched over to a full time DBA position. I read this book in about 2 weeks, and did the exam on the third week.... more info
Customer Review: After reading this book cover to cover, I was able to put together my first database and understand alot more of Access. I have had a difficult time grasping this software and have read 3 other books before this one. The Missing Manual was filled with great information and was easy to read.
Customer Review: I read this great book at a time when Synapse Communications also known as Synapse India was causing my company brand damage and lost revenue due to an unfulfilled agreement to build several websites for my investment firm. The book was a real eye opener to the very poor website design and PHP work... more info
Customer Review: Well, the first thing you want to do when you finish a book like this is go on and on about how impressed you are. This is one of the best database technology books I've read, and the best one on MySQL. Digging into the book I would say I was an intermediate DBA. With 12 years experience on... more info
Customer Review: This book really makes my day!
Its content is organized in such way that really helps us to understand "how things work". It gives basic and detailed information of the Dot.Net platform when building Web Aplications.
Great to whom wants to pass on Microsoft's 70-758 Exam!

Customer Review: This was a "why not?" read. I was surprised to find it a decent introduction to Active Directory. It mainly deals with the background information as it attempts to explain what is Active Directory. This is not really an AD management book. If you are looking for a "How to" book, this book... more info
Customer Review: I bought this book as a required text for a class I was taking. While I find text books dry and difficult in many cases, this one was different. Mullen writes with some well placed humor, and yet covers a very large spectrum of information. This is not light reading, and it goes into quite a... more info
Customer Review: Not so sure if I like this book. I mean, maybe its good for some, but I dont really have much interest in Databases (I had to buy it for my class) so it wasn't really to my liking. I would prefer more pictures and stuff. But my teacher likes it so... yep.
