Customer Review: Great book. Fast read, gives a ton of great pointers for the beginning photographer. I bought both volumes 2 years ago when I fist really started to get into photography and they really helped improve my images by giving pointers on equipment needed to set up a home studio, how to get the best... more info
Customer Review: I learned from the information in the book, but I was looking for a little different information. I guess that will come with experenice.
Customer Review: I am still working my way through this book, but so far have found it a fount of knowledge. Easy to read, - and you can go online to Scott Kelby's site, D/L the same images, and work at your pace with the same photos. The book consists of 14 chapters - each with a load of lessons, and each lesson has... more info
Customer Review: I very much enjoy looking through this book and in a few years may understand more of it's contents. There are many terms I have not yet experienced, although I've been a camera buff for around a decade. It appears to be very informative and I look forward to future use.
Customer Review: Composition. In the eye of the beholder or the artist, or quick rules like thirds or golden mean... Unteachable, you either have it or you don't. Nope, the author shows it to be more than just that eye of self-expression. The principals can be learned, reinforced, and communicated. Who said,... more info

Buy these beautiful guides and don't let ANYONE borrow them (or at least not take them out of your sight!) Well worth the money! Many reviews go on and on; I'll get to the point. You will... more info
Customer Review: This book did not highlight the new features in CS4 enough. It primarily was a book on how to use photoshop which I am already familiar with.
Customer Review: The book is all it is advertised to be. If read carefully, one can be doing usable work with Photoshop CS3 or 4 within half and hour. I consider this a good addition to my reference materials.
