Customer Review: Each new edition of Lindeburg's manual is better laid-out and easier to read than the previous. This manual was one of only three books on my desk during the P.E. exam, and will remain an important part of my permanent collection. A wealth of information, from concepts to unit conversions to... more info
Customer Review: Just took the PE exam yesterday, and all I brought was this book and Lindeburg's reference manual. I used these two books exclusively to study, and found that they were sufficient to prepare me for what was on the test. I attribute this to the quality of the books and not to any pre-existing... more info
Customer Review: This book covers the basics and fundamentals of steel design in such a way that provides a great reference for the structural engineering student or professional. Possibly the best book you can find in the field.

Instead, he provides seventy of his own color illustrations to help him and co-writer Ira Nadel... more info
Customer Review: This book was very user friendly and presented the material so it was easy to understand. As is the case with any textbook, however, there can never be enough examples.
Customer Review: I used this book prior to taking the PE exam, as a practice test - blocked out the whole day, stuck to the schedule, etc. In general, I found the problems to be very complicated and involved (NOT six minute problems), and the test was just too difficult. I was not able to complete this test in eight... more info
Customer Review: This is my favorite Concrete design book of all time. It is my first reference to anything regarding design. It is an excellent reference for students and engineers as well. I used it a lot for my graduate classes and I always use it in my office. Highly recommended!!
