Customer Review: I bought this book in conjunction with another book so I wasn't really expecting it to be very detailed. What this book does for me is offer a lot of ideas with great pictures and some steps to achieving the end result. If you've ever read a more detailed step-by-step book and then you read this... more info
Customer Review: I was looking for a book to teach me how to make hypertufa pots for the garden. This book not only does that, but it has all sorts of projects made out of concrete. It contains several different concrete "recipes" for making these projects. There are about 25 projects in the book, with complete... more info
Customer Review: In CONCRETE AT HOME, concrete designer Fu-Tung Chen does just this, sharing with his readers the many creative uses he's found for concrete over the years. Floors, walls, countertops, sinks, fireplaces - Chen covers them all, with a decided flair for the fanciful. I approached CONCRETE AT HOME... more info

Customer Review: I bought this book to tile my tub enclosure...a pretty popular tiling job. However, this book doesn't show you how to do it!!! That's about the only thing it didn't instruct you on, but I think its a BIG hole in the book and now I need to buy another book...."Tiling In-Complete"
Customer Review: This is an excellent book, a stonemason myself, it really does give a true insight of the art or skill involved in stonemasonary. The illustration are excellent, with several cross sections to show the reader how stone walls are built.
Customer Review: This book was very helpful for the individual that wants to try to lay tile for the first time. It illustrates the techniques well and makes the process easy. I would recommend it highly.
Customer Review: I loaned this book to my friend [we're both rockaholics]and she's having a hard time giving it back [maybe I should buy one for her]. I have acquired several books on stonescaping, building with rock, etc., this is one of the good ones, wonderful pictures too.
Customer Review: this books is a good intro to the fundamentals of stone working. there are a lot of great pictures and illustrated diagrams. it's only drawback in my opinion is that it's all in black and white. If you don't already own it, mcraven's "stone primer" is a wonderful read and superior in production... more info
