Customer Review: Everything you wanted to know about sharpening. This book is very thorough in describing in some detail how to sharpen pretty much everything in your house and garage. It is a good balance of enough information to get started without going too overboard in topics that are not of interest. I think... more info
Customer Review: In my humble opinion,,The Bandsaw Book is a great book for woodworkers at all stages of woodworking. It had what I knew and what I had forgotten PLUS!

Customer Review: David Boye writes as an old friend might write to you via e-mail, describing his hobby and how he makes knives, soon infecting you with this 'disease'. By the time you've finished your subconscious will be telling you "I've got to become a knifemaker!". The book covers tools, knife types, stock... more info
Customer Review: The Table Saw Book provides plenty of information. The organization is fine, and I am not disappointed. Compared with other shop literature, however, Kelly Mehler fails to make the reading compelling -- or even very interesting. This book is more like a dull lecture.

Customer Review: I do now. Tolpin writes as if he's having a conversation with you - and that he really wants you to learn. Even an expert in table saw use can find something of interest here. Customer Review: The book is very detailed on the picture and descriptions. It provides with very good fixtures for different projects and it looks as a very useful reference. Still, it suggest the addition of some expensive blades and dadoes that may not be considered for you.
Customer Review: Lots of pretty pictures and cute writing. 23 full color pictures of the authors swinging splitting mauls. Lots of pictures of them doing all sorts of things. A really eccentric felling style. I wouldn't try it. There are much better, safer and more accurate methods in general use.
